Sanskriti is running a free public library in Bahadurgarh. Now We are planning to open libraries in the rural areas/govt school .
Sanskriti has adopted adopted 2 orphanages in bahadurgarh city and take care of every need of children there. We used to organise various events during the festivals or just go and spend time with the children there. Morever, we used to donate stationary/books/slippers whenever the children need. Later on , we are aiming for opening an orphanage as well.
Recently Sanskriti adopted a govt primary school in a village in District Jhajjar and provided books/stationary to them . We are planning to continue this activity every month. Though govt provided few support to the school but thats not at all sufficient for proper education of children there.
'Disha' - Disha is Sanskriti's Career Guidance program . We used to go to nearby villages and organise career guidance seminars there. For this we have proper pamphlet for all the career options for students of 10/12th class. Right now,we have made a career guidance booklet which will be distributed free to the children in seminars.
Recently, We started our women empower initiative ,named as Pushapanjali' . We have just started with a sewing center which will provide the free training to the needy women. Later on, we can plan to arrange some work for them as well.
A free school for children,ULLAS, is also started in august but it still will take some time to take a proper shape of a school. Its in beginning stage and we need to manage teachers and a little bit infrastructure for the children.
Besides above mentioned activities Sanskriti regularly orgniase the following events for children:
- Speech Competition
- Quiz Competition
- Career guidance seminar
- Painting competitions
- Fun day for primary level government school students
- Sponsored the study of some poor but intelligent students in schools
- Donations at Orphanage
The list is increasing continuously ...
The society is also running a Library named as Sanskriti Library in Bahadurgarh.
